99 overall club

Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins

Hill is the first player to be named to the Madden 25 "99 club."

The Dolphins wide receiver had an incredible 2023 season, leading the league with 1,799 receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns. He could have won Offensive Player of the Year in almost any other year, but Christian McCaffrey posted 21 total touchdowns and over 2,000 scrimmage yards.

EA Sports sent the 30-year-old wideout a custom controller and necklace as part of the reveal which included a video from Eli Manning.

Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers

After the year McCaffrey had in 2023, it was widely expected for the star running back to be a 99 overall in Madden 25. Not to mention, he is the cover athlete. All signs pointed to him joining Hill in this exclusive club.

McCaffrey had a career year, scoring 21 total touchdowns and totaling over 2,000 scrimmage yards.

Trent Williams, LT, 49ers

Williams returns to the "99 club" for the second time in his career. He's been one of the best offensive linemen in football for the past few years, and his Madden ratings have reflected that.

The 49ers left tackle joins his teammate McCaffrey in the club, becoming the third player selected in 2024.

Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs

Kelce has long been one of the NFL's best tight ends, and he is returning to the 99 club again. He's coming off a slightly down year in 2023, but he still produced 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns last year.

Patrick Mahomes still loves throwing to Kelce, so it's sensible that the veteran tight end got a top-tier ranking for yet another year.

Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs

There should not be any surprise here: the best player in the NFL is, once again, a 99 overall in Madden 25.

Mahomes is fresh off his third Super Bowl title after throwing for 4,183 yards and 27 touchdowns last season. He will continue to be one of the most fun players to play with in the video game.
