Melbourne vs. Collingwood teams
Melbourne's season is over but they were rather impressive in thrashing Gold Coast on the road last weekend.
While omissions seem unlikely, Tom Sparrow (ankle) will come out of the team.
His replacement will come from the likes of Kynan Brown, Andy Moniz-Wakefield and Taj Woewodin.
Retiring forward Ben Brown won't be given a farewell game despite kicking six goals in the VFL last week.
With Collingwood's minute finals hopes still alive, wholesale changes are slim after the heartstopping win against Brisbane.
Joe Richards and Fin Macrae continued their strong VFL form, with Wil Parker, Ned Long and Jack Bytel the vulnerable senior players at selection.
Geelong vs. West Coast teams
Will Chris Scott respond to the second-half capitulation vs. St Kilda?
Tanner Bruhn (concussion) and Sam de Koning (knee) are likely to be fit, while Tom Hawkins (foot) is also close TO being fit again.
Players on the chopping block include Shannon Neale, who would come out for Hawkins, while Mitch Knevitt and Oisin Mullin were also quiet.
Anything could happen at West Coast selection after their embarrassing loss to Carlton last week.
It will be interesting to see if Tom Barrass (back) returns for what could be his final game as an Eagle.
Andrew Gaff has retired so he will be a definite omission, while Jarrod Schofield could cut the likes of Jack Petruccelle, Jack Williams, Zane Trew, Tyrell Dewar and Harvey Johnston.
Richmond vs. Gold Coast teams
It's hard to predict Richmond's selection with their season over and the chance for coach Adem Yze to take a look at some younger players.
Sub Kamdyn McIntosh performed strongly once he came on to the field and will likely start in the 22 this week.
Matthew Coulthard came off for McIntosh after struggling to have any impact on the match.
Excellent VFL performers include Tyler Sonsie, Thomson Dow and Maurice Rioli.
Gold Coast struggled to defeat against Melbourne in the seniors but their VFL team won by 88 points against Casey.
Jack Lukosius kicked five goals and had 19 score involvements, while Alex Sexton and Will Rowlands also kicked five goals.
The likes of Rory Atkins, Brayden Fiorini and Hewago Oea also put their hand up for senior selection.
Possible omissions from the senior team include Ben Long, Jed Walter, Bailey Humphrey and Jake Rogers.
Hawthorn vs. North Melbourne teams
Hawthorn suffered a blow in the lead-up to finals with Will Day (collarbone) out until at least the first week of post-season.
Josh Ward and Seamus Mitchell were the two best performing VFL midfielders who couple possibly replace Day, while Changkouth Jiath (calf) should be fit to return.
North Melbourne's selection roulette will continue with two players ruled out through concussion - Charlie Comben and Miller Bergman.
Toby Pink should earn a recall for Comben, while Harry Sheezel could be fit after missing last week with an ankle injury.
Liam Shiels will play a farewell game against his old side Hawthorn, while Jaidyn Stephenson, Zane Duursma and Will Phillips will be in contention for senior duty.
Brisbane Lions vs. Essendon teams
Will the Lions make changes after losing two in a row to GWS and Collingwood?
Jarrod Berry (hamstring) is still a chance to play despite being subbed against the Magpies.
Eric Hipwood was barely sighted on the weekend but surely he won't be replaced by Darcy Fort?
If Berry doesn't get up, Deven Robertson or Jarryd Lyons should get the call-up.
With Essendon's season over, Dyson Heppell will get a farewell game as he retires after 252 games.
Sam Weideman, Jye Menzie and Jake Kelly were the strugglers against Sydney and should be a part of any omissions.
Elijah Tsatas had another 40 possessions in the VFL, while Will Setterfield and Nick Hind also impressed.
Sydney vs. Adelaide teams
Will Sydney rest players with the minor premiership locked up?
Any of their stars or veterans could be 'managed' as finals approach.
Chad Warner (calf) has returned to fitness and wants to play but could be kept out to be fresh for post-season.
Angus Sheldrick continues to bang the selection door down with excellent VFL form.
Adelaide will need to replace Izak Rankine (concussion), while Taylor Walker (eye) is a test.
Western Bulldogs vs. GWS teams
The Bulldogs need to win and their mission will be made harder by the absence of ruckman Tim English (ankle).
Rhylee West will also be absent after undergoing surgery on a broken jaw.
Jack Macrae is a lock to be upgraded into the starting team after being a sub last week, while Ryley Sanders and Riley Garcia continue to dominate the VFL.
GWS will lose Lachie Ash to suspension, with Xavier O'Halloran the most likely replacement, and Nick Haynes also a chance to come in.
Carlton vs. St Kilda teams
Carlton has a swag of players listed as tests including Charlie Curnow (ankle), Adam Saad (hamstring), Mitch McGovern (hamstring), Caleb Marchbank (concussion) and Orazio Fantasia (calf).
Harry McKay (quad) has been ruled out and will only continue this season if the Blues make finals, while Tom De Koning (foot) will be touch-and-go for any first week final.
St Kilda have made the decision to not gift youth any games in the back end of the season and they have reaped the rewards with wins over Sydney and Geelong.
Brad Hill (back) and Anthony Caminiti (shoulder) are in significant doubt, while Matteas Phillipou should return from illness.
Fremantle vs. Port Adelaide teams
Fremantle have suffered a huge blow in a must-win match with Josh Treacy (knee) ruled out for a third consecutive game.
Sean Darcy (knee) is in doubt with Liam Reidy's selection hinging on the ruckman's fitness.
Port Adelaide should get back forward pair Todd Marshall and Mitch Georgiades, with Ryan Burton a likely omission if both forwards are fit.
Quinton Narkle and Lachie Jones also struggled to impact the Showdown with limited game time.
