Essendon vs. Adelaide teams
Heads are likely to roll at Essendon after losing two of their last three games.
Peter Wright was subbed out against Melbourne in a tactical decision and could find his place under threat.
The big forward only has seven goals in his past seven games and failed to take a mark versus Melbourne.
Other players facing the axe include Nik Cox, who has struggled for several weeks, Archie Perkins and Matt Guelfi.
Ben Hobbs looks set for a recall after gathering 30 possessions in the VFL, while Elijah Tsatas must be close after picking up 34 disposals.
Jye Menzie and Jayden Davey both kicked three goals in the twos to put forward a selection case.
Adelaide should elevate substitute Riley Thilthorpe to the starting 22 with Elliot Himmelberg facing demotion to the SANFL.
Mitch Hinge (adductor) is fit to come back into the team with debutant Hugh Bond the likely omission.
Dan Curtin is also making a strong case for a senior recall after being the best senior player in the SANFL.
GWS vs. Gold Coast teams
GWS will lose Toby Bedford (suspension) for three weeks, while Stephen Coniglio (shoulder) will face a fitness test.
Xavier O'Halloran looms as the Bedford replacement and could fill the tagging role that the former Melbourne player has been playing.
The Giants VFL side had a bye last weekend so there is no exposed form, however veteran Nick Haynes is likely to be discussed at selection.
Gold Coast needs to make three forced changes with Ben Ainsworth (shoulder) out for the season and suspensions to Alex Davies and Malcolm Rosas.
Jed Walter's senior status is in mortal peril after picking up only one possession against the Power.
Last week's dropped trio Alex Sexton, David Swallow and Tom Berry will be close to selection, while Jarrod Witts' return will likely see the unlucky Ned Moyle drop back once again.
St Kilda vs. West Coast teams
St Kilda have suffered a blow with the loss of in-form youngster Matteas Phillipou (hip) for a month.
Brad Hill (personal reasons) will return for his 250th game, but the likes of Tim Membrey and Riley Bonner face the axe after struggling against the Crows.
Matt Allison could make his debut after a second five-goal haul of the season in the VFL, while travelling emergency Hugo Garcia and Seb Ross will likely battle it out for Phillipou's spot,
Liam Stocker also put forward a strong case to return to the Saints defence.
West Coast were decent in their first game under Jarrad Schofield but will lose Liam Duggan (concussion) and Tyler Brockman (ankle) to injury.
However, several veterans performed solidly in the WAFL including Dom Sheed, Jack Darling, Matt Flynn and Jack Petruccelle.
Jai Culley also put his name in lights with a best on ground display in the WAFL.
Hawthorn vs. Collingwood teams
Jack Ginnivan (leg) is close to a Hawthorn return against his former club Collingwood in what promises to be a spicy encounter.
The small forward has missed the past two games with a crack in his fibula.
Harry Morrison would likely be the unlucky omission with the Hawks set to have minimal changes.
Collingwood is sweating on the fitness of Jeremy Howe and Mason Cox, with both facing fitness tests.
Lachie Schultz (concussion) has been ruled out, while Ned Long and Harvey Harrison are facing the axe after poor performances.
Former Saint Jack Bytel was best afield in the VFL with 33 possessions, while Dan McStay made a comeback from an ACL injury but is likely to build his fitness at the lower level.
Geelong vs. Western Bulldogs teams
Geelong is almost a certainty to name an unchanged team after a quality win against Collingwood.
Tanner Bruhn (scaphoid) is nearing fitness but the Cats will likely opt on the safer side with the team going so well at the moment.
Western Bulldogs could feature two big ins with late withdrawal Adam Treloar (calf) and Aaron Naughton (concussion) looking likely to return.
James O'Donnell is also in the frame to return from concussion.
It's unlikely that the Bulldogs will make any other changes but unused sub Riley Garcia could replace Harvey Gallagher, who lacked impact against Carlton.
Port Adelaide vs. Richmond teams
Port Adelaide's forward line has been shaken up with Todd Marshall (hip) and Jeremy Finlayson (spleen) both ruled out.
Lachie Jones will also miss through concussion.
Mitch Georgiades returns straight into the forward line after serving a suspension, while Ryan Burton should replace Jones.
Willie Rioli kicked three goals in the SANFL and is also a likely inclusion.
Richmond loses Tim Taranto (concussion) but will hope to welcome back Dustin Martin, who missed last week with a back injury.
Thomson Dow performed strongly in the VFL and will be considered for a recall.
Brisbane vs. Sydney teams
Brisbane lose Charlie Cameron (suspension) in a huge blow for their chances of beating league-leading Sydney.
However, defenders Brandon Starcevich (concussion) and Noah Answerth (shoulder) should return.
It's doubtful the Lions will make too many changes but Shadeau Brain could get squeezed out if both defenders come back in.
Isaac Heeney (suspension) comes back for Sydney with Justin McInerney (knee) the likely only change.
The Swans have added Luke Parker and Callum Mills to their team in recent weeks and will be building for September.
Fremantle vs. Melbourne teams
Fremantle will be boosted by the additions of Sean Darcy (concussion) and Alex Pearce (arm) - if they both pass fitness tests.
Patrick Voss looms as the likely omission for Darcy, while Josh Draper could be the unlucky out for Pearce.
Sam Sturt is another candidate for the axe for Pearce, but that would require a team reshuffle.
Melbourne will be hoping Max Gawn returns from an ankle issue as they mount a late top four charge.
Fringe smalls Andy Moniz-Wakefield and Taj Woewodin will be discussed for omission at selection, while Jack Billings and Bailey Laurie performed well in the VFL.
Carlton vs. North Melbourne teams
Carlton look almost certain to boost their midfield with George Hewett, who had 33 disposals in the VFL.
Jack Carroll is another who impressed in the VFL.
The Blues will be hoping Mitch McGovern (hip) returns from injury, with Caleb Marchbank the most likely out.
Zac Williams has hurt his hamstring in a huge blow for the flexibility of Carlton's team.
North Melbourne will likely recall Zac Fisher, who was dominant in the VFl, while Zane Duursma is also pressing for a senior berth.
Griffin Logue could finally be ready to play ones after a year out following another solid VFL game.
Curtis Taylor and Liam Shiels are likely to be on the chopping block.
