Gold Coast vs. Geelong teams

A big performance for the Suns against North Melbourne last weekend should mean changes are few and far between.

Connor Budarick (34 disposals), Rory Atkins (27 disposals) and Brandon Ellis (26 disposals) have been performing in the VFL but might need to bide their time.

Geelong will be without both Jeremy Cameron (concussion) and Tom Hawkins (managed), in addition to the already injured Patrick Dangerfield.

Expect Shannon Neale and Toby Conway to be the likely replacements for Cameron and Hawkins, while Tanner Bruhn, Zach Tuohy and Jack Bowes will be up for selection.

Geelong's VFL team had a bye last weekend making it difficult for other players to push for senior action.

Sydney vs. Carlton teams

Will Sydney continue not to select Luke Parker?

The veteran midfielder is banging down the door for selection via the VFL, but John Longmire hasn't found a position for the gun in his team.

And it certainly isn't clear who Parker would replace after another good win against Fremantle.

Sam Wicks hasn't had much impact in the past few weeks and could possibly be an omission.

Carlton will lose gun midfielder Adam Cerra (hamstring) and wingman Matt Cottrell (foot).

Jaxon Binns looks likely to play his second AFL game after collecting 43 possessions in the VFL, while Jack Carroll is also pushing for selection.

Caleb Marchbank also returned from injury via the VFL last weekend and is available.

Collingwood vs. Adelaide teams

Collingwood will be forced to make several changes with Jeremy Howe (groin), Jack Bytel (concussion) and Harvey Harrison (ankle) all likely to miss from the team that faced West Coast.

Jordan De Goey and Tom Mitchell could return after missing the last two weeks - but are both no certainties.

Solid VFL performers included Ash Johnson (three goals) and Charlie Dean (27 disposals) with both contenders to be a straight swap for Howe.

Adelaide defender Josh Worrell will be a medium-term absentee after breaking his arm, with James Borlase almost a certainty to come into the backline.

Daniel Curtin and Luke Nankervis could be possible omissions after struggling for impact against the Lions.

Candidates to come into the team from the SANFL include Lachlan Murphy, Harry Schoenberg and Sam Berry.

GWS Giants vs. Western Bulldogs teams

The Giants will lose star midfielder Josh Kelly and gun half-back Lachie Ash - both with significant calf injuries.

This opens the door for Xavier O'Halloran to return to the midfield, while Josh Fahey and Harry Rowston have also impressed at VFL level.

If Adam Kingsley decides to wield the axe after the loss to Essendon, Harvey Thomas, Darcy Jones and Jake Riccardi could be vulnerable.

After an easy night out against Richmond, there is unlikely to be too many omissions from Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge.

Ryley Sanders (42 disposals) and Caleb Daniel (14 clearances) are starring at VFL level and will be discussed at selection.

Debutant Joel Freijah and Luke Cleary would be the unlucky outs despite performing well against the Tigers.

St Kilda vs. Fremantle teams

Ross Lyon could look to swing the changes to curb St Kilda's poor form.

Anthony Caminiti kicked three goals from eight scoring shots in the VFL and could come in for an out-of-form Tim Membrey.

The Saints have several senior midfielders building at VFL level, including Paddy Dow, Hunter Clark, Zac Jones and Mattaes Phillipou, with possible inclusions likely to come from that list.

First-year players Angus Hastie and Hugo Garcia haven't had much impact in recent weeks, while Ben Paton and Seb Ross will see their senior status come under question.

Sean Darcy (calf) looks unlikely to get up for Fremantle after missing last week's loss to Sydney, while Tom Emmett and Patrick Voss could be omitted after failing to have much impact.

Neil Erasmus would a certain inclusion if changes are made, having gathered 38 possessions in the WAFL last weekend.

Brisbane vs. Richmond teams

Brisbane could have Noah Answerth (concussion) and Devan Robertson (shoulder) available as they look for a valuble four points against Richmond.

The likes of debutant Shadeau Brain and Jaxon Prior would find themselves at threat if players return.

There will be plenty of changes at Richmond through both injury and form after the thrashing at the hands of the Western Bulldogs.

Jack Graham (hamstring), Maurice Rioli (foot), Seth Campbell (knee) and Sam Banks (concussion) will all come out of the team.

The injury crisis could mean that several struggling senior players earn a reprieve, including Noah Cumberland.

Kane McAuliffe appears a certainty to come in based on his VFL efforts, as should Kamdyn McIntosh.

Essendon vs. North Melbourne teams

After a brilliant win against GWS, expect Essendon to go in with a unchanged lineup, unless Jordan Ridley (quad) gets up for selection.

If the star defender is available, Alwyn Davey Jnr could be the unlucky player squeezed out.

North Melbourne loses rising midfielder Colby McKercher to a foot injury, in what's likely to be a busy selection night after being thrashed by Gold Coast.

Blake Drury, Darcy Tucker, Jackson Archer and Riley Hardemann are axing candidates, with last week's sub Charlie Lazzaro and Zane Duusrma (four goals in the VFL) good chances to play full games at senior level.

Port Adelaide vs. Hawthorn teams

Ken Hinkley is likely to reward most of the team that upset Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night.

Fringe ruck Dante Visentini should be replaced by Jordon Sweet, who is fit again after suffering illness.

Connor Rozee and Lachie Jones are considered unlikely to return from hamstring injuries.

If either do return, Josh Sinn, Jed McEntee and Francis Evans will be first in line for the chop.

After two wins in a row, Hawthorn could be boosted by the return of James Sicily and Mabior Chol, while Changkouth Jiath put his hand up for selection by getting through a VFL match.

Jack Scrimshaw will miss one match through suspension, while Calsher Dear and Finn Maginness could be discussed for potential omission.

West Coast vs. Melbourne teams

The Eagles should get back their two best performers in 2024 - Elliot Yeo and Jake Waterman - with both missing out against Collingwood with minor injuries.

Harvey Johnston and Ryan Maric will be most nervous during selection.

Christian Salem (hamstring) is closing in on a return for Melbourne, while strong VFL performers included Ben Brown kicking six goals and Lachie Hunter with 24 disposals.

Daniel Turner comes out of the side with an ankle issue, while Jacob van Rooyen's concussion should see him replaced by Brown.
