One of the best parts of WWE is when the storylines bleed into real life. Okay, Twitter isn't real life, but it's still a fun time whenever rivalries are able to continue in social media instead of having to wait for the next episode. Case in point, Zelina Vega making fun of a mic botch by current WWE Women's Champion, Liv Morgan.
On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, the fallout from the SummerSlam betrayal of Rhea Ripley by Dom Mysterio continued to play out. Rhea Ripley's mic promo time was "interrupted" by Mysterio and Morgan appearing at the top of the steps in the crowd to have a back-and-forth that eventually led to an epic concession stand brawl. But before Damian Priest ignited the violence by appearing behind the two lovebirds, the words exchanged between Ripley and Morgan were a bit clunkly.
And Vega called Morgan out for it on Twitter.
She wants? Dominik’s? Sloppy? Seconds?

…sooo she wants Rhea? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm https://t.co/ggB2B5I0ii
Vega called out Morgan's mic fumble as she continues to campaign for a better storyline to match her in-ring and mic ability within the promotion. Trying to get under the champ's skin is certainly a worthy attempt. Morgan, of course, wasn't going to sit back and dismissed Vega as unworthy of speaking on anything Morgan does and she's better off doing social media promos.
Girl u sitting at home making ur own vignettes, shut up https://t.co/Hzxf6XSFLX

Not having it, Vega doubled down saying that the only reason that clap back had any punch was because Morgan didn't have to say it live and had a chance to workshop it before hitting the send button.
Wow maybe she was actually better at that comeback because she had time to sit and think about it for a day. God forbid you give her a live mic *shakes in boots* Thx for watching tho 😘 https://t.co/6hSXbwc4lI

Morgan refused to sit back and take the shot, throwing her own over Vega's lack of crowd appeal.
Pleaaaaaase I get a live mic almost every week. I am the Womens World Champion, I am the show darling. I’m sorry you can’t relate. But maybeeee you’d get the mic a little more if people in the actual arena cared about a thing you did 👉👈 but hey.. you’ll always have your Twitter… https://t.co/9xUMhBGLm0

Vega's response? Two days later and still waiting. Apparently that was all she wrote. The two recently renewed their singles rivalry when Morgan defeated Vega on the July 1 episode. The pair tangled several times in 2021 and 2022. Vega hasn't defeated Morgan in singles competition since they were both on Friday Night Smackdown in early 2021.
