WWE Wyatt Sicks 6: Bo Dallas intimate Q&A with Uncle Howdy reveals powerful mental health struggle image

There are many, many layers to the debut of The Wyatt Sicks 6 in the WWE, and their chosen delivery system of encoded messages and demonically-charged Easter eggs that have been masterfully seeded throughout shows and premium live events over the past several months (and years) has led to a planet-cracking remembrance of Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), the mastermind behind the faction, lost his life unexpectedly during his sleep in August 2023 due to cardiac arrest — throwing the entire world of professional wrestling into memoriam and severe bouts of grief that many have still not completely worked through (e.g., Alexa Bliss).

This has never been illustrated as powerfully as during the June 25 episode of RAW, when Abigail the Witch aka Sister Abigail (Nikki Cross) appeared following Chad Gable’s victory in his Money in the Bank qualifying match, but it wasn’t to attack Gable again (yet).

It was to deliver a VHS tape to ringside announcer Michael Cole, sending chills down his spine.

On the videotape was an interview from Uncle Howdy with Taylor Rotunda, aka Bo Dallas, who himself is also the man behind the mask.

It was very obvious that the intent was not to create subterfuge regarding who is actually Uncle Howdy, but to instead put Dallas’ psychological struggles with his mental health regarding the loss of his brother on center stage.

One press of the play button and the entire WWE universe was inhaled into Dallas’ pain, in what may have been one of the most cathartic moments in the history of the sport.

THE ENTIRE BACKGROUND FOR THE WYATT SICKS 6 IS HERE.

It’s one that puts to bed any accusations of Dallas’ intent with the existence of The Wyatt Sicks 6, and in case you may not have noticed: it’s being conducted in Bray Wyatt’s infamous “Firefly Funhouse” — all of the lights turned out to symbolize the the inescapable darkness in Dallas’ very being nowadays.

“Are you happy?” Howdy inquired. “How have you been since the loss? Do you feel as though you have been forgotten? Do you even remember who you are?”

To which Dallas replied …

“I’m nobody.”

With that, Howdy was sinfully delighted.

“There you are,” he said in a satisfied and almost smug tone of voice, before leaning forward and asking the single most important question on everyone’s mind — wondering how the Rotunda family was/is managing the grief of Wyatt’s passing.

“How did it feel when your brother died?” asked Uncle Howdy.

“Like the most important thing in my life was taken away from me,” said a visibly shaken Dallas. “Like nothing was ever gonna matter again.”

At that moment, the words “matter again” were repeated in a voice that sounded as if it had echoed from the depths of Hell, an audible portrait of the struggle that rages on inside of Wyatt’s brother, who then made it clear his goal is not legacy exploitation.

It's legacy continuation.

“All I ever wanted, my whole life, was to be like my brother,” he said with tears working desperately to escape his eyes, barely failing. “I looked up to him and I wanted to be him, and I worked my entire career, my life, so I could have the opportunity to work there next to him. We were gonna rule together, and we’d finally made it.

“We were there. We had it. And then it was taken away from me. There is no one on this Earth that feels more hurt than me from his loss. Not one person on Earth feels what I feel!”

“What am I supposed to do? Let him become a mausoleum? Let everyone forget about what he stood for, what he fought for, what he believed in?”

While there will never be a scenario in which the WWE universe will ever truly forget Wyatt’s genius, brilliance and contributions inside of the ring, in the locker room and in the community, what Dallas is saying bears a fair amount of truth.

SOCIAL MEDIA EXPLODES AFTER UNCLE HOWDY Q&A.

Time does indeed fade the details in even the most vivid portrait.

But with the Wyatt Sicks 6 being realized, the image of Wyatt’s influence in the industry and community is as colorful and poignant as ever.

“They wanted to forget about me. They wanted to forget about all of us,” said Dallas. “We made them remember. We made them all remember.”

Uncle Howdy, like all of us, has never been more pleased; and that’s to say Dallas is working to heal in real time, and with the strength to do so on a global stage for all to see.

“Yes we did,” he said with a smile.

Yes, they did.
