WWE SmackDown Promo Fire: Bayley annihilates Nia Jax with potent insult one week after ‘BBL Bayley’ image

That sound you hear is Nia Jax sweeping up her broken feelings off of the floor after SmackDown, when Bayley took her to school in their side-by-side video promo by really taking the gloves off with the insults. One week after the 2024 Queen of the Ring dropped the “BBL Bayley” accusation, the WWE Women’s Champion returned the favor.

Bayley had already clapped back on social media regarding the body shaming attempt, to the point where Jax ended up walking it back — a decision also driven by the WWE Universe pinning her to a wall over the obviously incorrect insult.

This time, it was Bayley aiming her punches at Jax’s body.

“You just walk around like you own the place,” said Bayley. “You’re the same Nia that, in 2017, took me out of my Summerslam match and, yeah, we’re gonna go there and I’m gonna finish what I’m saying. You took me out of my Summerslam match and that changed the trajectory of my whole career.

“But you didn’t hurt me because you’re so big and you’re so much stronger than me, and that you’re so vicious. You hurt me because you’re big, you’re clumsy and you’re reckless.”

Heavens to Murgatroyd, what a haymaker when you consider the narrative has been attached to Jax her entire career so, whereas the “BBL Bayley” line fell flat because no one has ever had that thought, knowing it’s not true, what Bayley said to Jax carries actual sentiment of many.

Hence, Jax was left speechless for several seconds while her face contorted in fury, ultimately walking out on the promo only to get served by Bayley with the MITB briefcase to the head later in the evening.

You could say Jax was … Annihilated … by Bayley on Friday.
