WWE SmackDown Fallout: Tiffany Stratton reveals repaired MITB briefcase nearly destroyed by Bayley image

The clocks in Omaha must’ve been running a bit behind for some reason, because it surely was not Tiffy Time on SmackDown. Instead, Tiffany Stratton found herself following up a steller promo mashup by WWE with a plea to Bayley as the women’s champion put a beating on Nia Jax but, more importantly to Tiffy, on the Money in the Bank briefcase.

No briefcase, no cash-in, right? Well, it doesn’t exactly work like that, but Bayley’s message was felt and it left Stratton to grab some tape to try and repair her beloved new toy.

Bayley has had it “up to here” with the possibility that Stratton could cash in at any point over the next year and she’s already attempted to cash in twice just last weekend — once on the previous SmackDown before being halted by Jax and again, unsuccessfully, during a live show in Mexico before Bianca Belair stepped in and threw her out of the ring.

The upcoming match at Summerslam between Bayley and Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship is setting up to be as visceral as their insults have been lately, but Stratton is lurking in the background and she will have her briefcase with her.

It might be dented and damaged, but it still holds the contract.
