Anyone from the South knows how intoxicating an offer to make a trip to Waffle House can be. Nothing quite hits the spot like an All-Star Special after a long night of dri- … wait … I’ve said too much. Back to the topic at hand, namely Jey Uso using an offer for a Waffle House date as his latest attempt to woo Rhea Ripley into being his.

It’s working.

Uso has made no secret about his crush on Mami, much to the chagrin of “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, though it’s not as if the “Dirty” one has a leg to stand on right now after how he’s folded to the wiles of Liv Morgan both in the United States and south of the border.

And given how things have been portrayed, that last line could be interpreted as innuendo.

That’s up to you.

As for Uso and Ripley, when the latter was asked if she’s finally given the former her number on the heels of Uso defeating Dom on WWE RAW, she had but one thing to say.

“Yeet,” she said to WWE reporter Jackie Redmond in an off-the-cuff moment.

Good grief, Charlie Brown.

Dom wasn’t able to cover much ground this past Monday with flowers and pleading, even making the mistake of telling Ripley she “belongs to me”, a comment that drew a lethal stare that could’ve cut through a diamond, let alone a human being with a mustache and no beard.

Mysterio recently noted he’s “fighting for my life” following the latest compromising position he found himself in as Liv Morgan straddled him, again, on RAW (I mean come on, the innuendo is writing itself at this point), and he’ll continue to do so until Ripley says otherwise; and a large part of that forgiveness will likely be rooted in the outcome of her Summerslam title match with Morgan.

It was Dom who inadvertently helped Morgan get the belt vacated by Ripley due to an injury created by Morgan, and it might have to be Dom who helps get it back.

Then again, by the time he figures how to get back in her good graces, Ripley might be with Jey Uso, tangled in his yeets.
