While things are becoming a bit stale within the marquee storyline on SmackDown, namely the perpetual table-break ending involving the Bloodline, it’s quite the opposite for WWE RAW — each week ratcheting up the intensity ahead of Summerslam and this Monday will be no different as CM Punk returns to speak to general manager Adam Pearce.
The last time the two spoke was two weeks ago, after Pearce announced he’d suspended Drew McIntyre indefinitely thanks to an elbow to Pearce’s face following Money in the Bank, when Punk cost him both the WWE Heavyweight Championship and the briefcase he cashed in to try and win it.
DATE: Monday, July 22
TIME: 8 pm ET
LOCATION: Resch Center (Green Bay, WI)
BROADCAST: USA Network
CONFIRMED MATCHES:
Six-Way Tag Match:
Xavier Woods + Otis + Akira Tozawa vs. Karrion Kross + Akam + Rezar (Final Testament)
Women’s Singles Match:
Lyra Valkyria vs. Sonya Deville
Pearce promised the Second City Saint that if he stayed away last week, McIntyre would have a chance to have his suspension lifted but, after trying to make McIntyre grovel for it, Pearce discovered the Scottish Warrior would rather punch his teeth — nearly doing it before being forced out of the ring by Seth Rollins.

And, with that, McIntyre remains suspended, but count on Punk to again try for an overturn to set up their Summerslam match, assuming Punk gets medically cleared, and there’s at least a small chance he could announce in Green Bay that he has been. For that possibility alone, you won’t want to miss out on the show.
There are other reasons as well, because anything can happen nowadays between Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley and the Judgment Day and, lest ye forget, Chad Gable has united with the Creed Brothers to attack Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy and that means the Wyatt Sicks 6 is out for more of his blood now.
Let them in ... to in-ring action.
