On the July 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the foundation for a couple of championship matches were added to the agenda for the WWE's next Premium Live Event, SummerSlam 2024.

LA Knight, leaving Nick Aldis' office (later revealed to not even be in the building) with a mystery portfolio, headed to the ring to announce that the GM had signed off on a US Heavyweight championship match against Logan Paul. Later in the show, Cody Rhodes entered the ring during The Bloodline's segment and confirmed that he and Solo Sikoa would tussle for Rhodes' Universal Championship.

Once matches are official, there certainly will be the chance to bet on those, but for now BetOnline has released the opening odds for the two championship matches already lined up.

The King and Queen of the Ring PLE event from the spring brought about mandatory challenges for their winners. Gunther won on the men's side and was promised a match with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest. Nia Jax won on the women's side and earned a shot against Bayley.

Gunther is favored, heavily, to take the title with -700 odds. A bet on Priest pays off well at +400. On th women's side, Bayley is a slight favorite to retain her title at -130 while a Jax victory would pay off at -110.
