WWE Money in the Bank FALLOUT: Drew McIntyre suspended ‘indefinitely’ after attacking RAW GM image

Drew McIntyre will be banned from WWE for the foreseeable future after going ballistic following Money in the Bank in Toronto, a rampage that saw him feverishly looking for CM Punk and, in his furious state, led him to hit RAW general manager Adam Pearce with a well-placed and teeth-rattling elbow to the face.

Wade Barrett, current announcer and former WWE superstar, leapt to Pearce’s aid and helped remove McIntyre from the post-MITB set.

Only hours later, Pearce took to social media to announce the punishment — a fine for both McIntyre and Punk for what happened in the ring … and a much heftier consequence for what McIntyre did afterwards.

The elephant in the room — everybody saw what happened at Money in the Bank and after,” said Pearce. “As a result, after careful consideration, I am hereby fining CM Punk and Drew McIntyre for their actions. Furthermore, due to putting his elbow squarely in my teeth, I am hereby officially suspending Drew McIntyre, indefinitely.”

McIntyre was originally scheduled to appear on RAW this week, but no longer, unless the Scottish warrior shrugs off the suspension and chooses to defy authority.

Most recently, it was Bron Breakker garnering a suspension Pearce for his rampage following being omitted from the 2024 King of the Ring tournament, appearing out of the crowd on the very next show to continue stacking bodies.

We will see if McIntyre tears a page out of the rookie’s book on Monday.

Odds are great that he will.
