WWE Injury News: Braun Strowman suffers knee injury, requires medical follow-up image

The recent rash of injuries in the WWE is becoming concerning, but there’s not much the promotion can do about them when considering the when and how behind each occurrence, and Braun Strowman is the latest to be bitten by the injury bug, though it’s not yet known if he’ll miss any time due to it.

Strowman injured his knee in a match against WWE Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest on the latest episode of WWE RAW when he attempted to his Priest with the Runaway Train outside of the ring, only for Priest to move at the last second.

The momentum sent Strowman’s knee right into the barricade, and so it was not a sell when he was agonizing on the floor holding it — he was actually in pain.

"Knee is a little banged up,” the Monster Amongst Men told WWE Die Woche, via Fightful. “II have a doctor's appointment this week to get it checked out. If you've noticed, it's been bugging me a little. I've been a little off-step the last couple of weeks.

“There's been a little tweak going in there.”

The fact it’s a bit of a pre-existing issue doesn’t sound promising for Strowman’s prognosis, especially considering he’s just recently returned in 2024 from a long stretch on injured reserve.

“When I caught it on the top of the barricade, I felt something move in my kneecap,” he explained. “I had a bruise on my knee at the end of the match. Not using it as an excuse, but it sure as heck didn't help me not get beat.”

Strowman will soon find out when he can return to the ring, currently entangled in several storylines headlined by his disdain for The Judgment Day.
