It was a battle between big men as Braun Strowman faced the unbeaten linear boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury at WWE Crown Jewel.

The final result wasn't pretty, but Fury connected with a big right hand that sent Strowman off the apron and to the floor. The WWE superstar wobbled back and forth and couldn’t get back in the ring within a 10 count, giving Fury the win.

The “Gypsy King” looked to curry the favor of the Saudi Arabia fans at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh as he came out wearing traditional Arabic attire for his introduction.

Once he stepped inside the ring, it was obvious that the boxing champion was very limited with what he could do in a match that was slow and forgettable.

Each man dropped the other with big boots during the match, which spilled outside the ring several times. Fury was able to counter Strowman’s running shoulder block with a kick to the chest the first time he attempted it.

Strowman countered back inside the ring with a clubbing blow, knocking Fury down. He sat up Undertaker style, but the crowd did not buy it. They fought outside the ring again, but this time, Strowman connected with his running shoulder block. When Strowman threw Fury back in the ring, the boxer countered with the big right hand that dropped Strowman for the 10 count.

As Fury celebrated after the match, Strowman came up from behind him and hit a powerslam. Fury got up quickly and barked at Strowman, who was making his way back up the ramp.

While Fury has already stated that he has no immediate plans to do anything else with WWE, the door was left wide open for a rematch.
