WWE heads back to Saudi Arabia for the second time in 2018 with its Crown Jewel event set to take place on Friday, November 2. It's part of a very lucrative long-term partnership between the WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Originally, the event was to take place at the King Fahd International Stadium but was downsized to the smaller King Saud University Stadium.
Both of the WWE heavyweight championship titles will be on the line plus the event will feature the in-ring return of Shawn Michaels more than eight years after he retired. Plus, there will be a first-ever WWE World Cup tournament to "determine the best in the world". The company's top male stars will be part of the show but, once again, the show will not feature any WWE female superstars due to Saudi law.
The card is still coming together and should be solidified in the coming weeks. Until then, here’s all you need to know.
