The opening match of 2024's Clash at the Castle was the one many fans were most focused on. In a WWE Championship battle, American Nightmare Cody Rhodes faced off against AJ Styles' phenomenal retirement rouse that led to his getting a chance at the belt.

Rhodes' welcome in Glasgow, Scotland has been phenomenal since the weekend started, with the crowd bellowing out his nae for two days straight, embarrassing the crowd participation that has happened at many stateside PLEs.

The amazement at the crowd, along with Rhodes early domination in the 'I Quit' battle that took to the back hallways of OVO Hydro arena before Styles planted Rhodes onto the announcer's table set off a glorious social media response to the action on Twitter.

Here's a collection of the best tweets.

And then caught it anyway.
