WWE Bad Blood Back for 2024? Rumors swirl about the possible return in October and 'Hell in a Cell' image

Things are getting scary in the WWE, and it’s not by coincidence but rather by a high-level schematic and storytelling that simply can’t be denied. Hot on the heels of the masterpiece that was the debut/return of Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks (6), there’s now a credible rumor the promotion is looking to bring back the “Bad Blood” premium live event in October.

This is according to multiple reports, including PWInsider, and it feels a perfect time for the WWE to explore not only the possibility of this, but also potentially making its headline match the infamous “Hell in the Cell”.

It was nearly five years ago, in 2019, when Bray Wyatt took on Seth “Freaking” Rollins as The Fiend in a Hell in the Cell match for the WWE Universal Championship and, in 2015, Wyatt also faced Roman Reigns in a HITC clash.

FULL EXPLANATION OF THE WYATT SICKS 6 IS HERE.

That makes it impossible to fathom a Bad Blood premium live event that wouldn’t feature Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks (6), the faction long planned by Bray Wyatt himself.

If the PLE does re-emerge, this is how the remaining PLE schedule for WWE would map out, NXT notwithstanding:

  • July 6: Money in the Bank
  • August 3: SummerSlam
  • October 5 (?): Bad Blood
  • November 2: Crown Jewel
  • Late November (TBD): Survivor Series

From Kane to the Undertaker to Mick Foley, this is the very spirit of the event — which is why Hell in a Cell has nearly always been an October (read: Halloween) endeavor.

And with the resurgence of blood and the end of the "PG-13 Era", provoked by WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, things could really become disturbing this Fall.

As it stands, it’s still just a credible rumor not made official by the WWE. There’s no doubt the demand for the return of Bad Blood and Hell in a Cell will now reach fever pitch thanks to what the world witnessed on June 17 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Bray Wyatt wouldn’t have it any other way.

Let them in.
