Should you be one of the many who have watched endless hours, decades even, of professional wrestling, you know there are levels to disrespect and, at times, superstars from across the multiverse of promotions — e.g., WWE, AEW, TNT, NWA, NJPW, etc.— can range from mild to “did that really just happen?!”; but count on Chris Jericho to add a layer.
The self-proclaimed “Learning Tree” is back to being a champion in AEW with his new character arc, and he seems supremely unimpressed with anyone who’d challenge him, so much so that he couldn’t be bothered in his tag match on the latest episode of Rampage.

That’s ridiculous, and hilarious, and also right on brand for anyone who’s followed Jericho’s career from WWE to AEW (remember The List?). The future Hall of Famer continues to successfully reinvent himself and, each time, it’s must-see TV.
This time is no different.
The FTW Champion might want to tighten up just a bit for his next big match though, because Minoru Suzuki will have a strict no-phone policy when he tries to beat Jericho’s head in for the belt next Wednesday night for AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts.
