In some corners of the wrestling fandom world, the established stars and names. carry the WWE brand. In other corners, however, the up and comers are gaining serious traction. NXT, under the direction of Shawn Michaels, has been exploding recently. Some even feel that last weekend's HeatWave was a better Premium Live Event than the WWE's main product, Money in the Bank.

So for those feening for more of the lesser known stars, they'll be exited by a report earlier this week from Ringside News that the next WWE NXT PLE has been scheduled for September 1 and will be 'NXT No Mercy".

The event will be on the heels of the WWE's second PLE for the month of August. SummerSlam, one of the Big 4, takes place on August 3 in Cleveland, OH and then at the end of the month the promotion travels overseas to Europe for an August 31 date: Bash in Berlin, in Germany at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

The NXT experience will be in the Continental US, reportedly taking place in Denver, Colorado.

The NXT has no shortage of talent and intriguing storylines, especially with the repeated appearances of TNA's Joe Hendry. Hendry joined former champion Trick Williams, who lost his belt to Ethan Page in a Fatal Four Way during HeatWave earlier in July. The women's division is teeming with talent as well, with numerous high flyers and quality mic workers.

Current Men's Champion: Ethan Page
Current Women's Champion: Roxanne Perez
Current Women's North American Champion: Kelani Jordan
Current Men's North American Champion: Oba Femi
Current Men's Tag Champions: Axiom & Nathan Frazier
Current NXT Heritage Cup Champion: Tony D'Angelo
