RAW Preview (07/15/24): WWE analyst discusses ‘Brutality’ of Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre return, more image

The air is so thick with anticipation that it’s getting harder and harder to breathe for “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day heading into this week’s episode of WWE RAW, and that’s because Rhea Ripley will speak for the first time in an arena since vacating her title due to injury — having watched from the sidelines as Liv Morgan achieved revenge.

While that gets sorted in potentially bloody fashion, Drew McIntyre will try to keep his latest chapter with CM Punk from going in that direction, set to meet with general manager Adam Pearce for an appeal of his indefinite suspension.

The irony being it’s Punk who asked for McIntyre to return.

And New! Wrestling takes a brief peek at what’s to come on Monday night.

Not waiting long for another title defense will be WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn as he puts his belt on the line against Ilja Dragunov only nine days after successfully defending it against Bron Breakker but, considering Breakker has it out for both of them, there’s a solid chance the young Steiner makes his presence felt in that match.

There is plenty of reason to have your eyes glued to this week’s episode of RAW, as the road to Summerslam kicks into high gear.
