Mick Foley, Line 1.

Kevin Owens joined some painful company during Sunday's WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event, as he was thrown off the top of a steel cage, landing on an announce table roughly 15 feet below.

Brutal.

Throughout the match, Owens made several allusions to WWE's "Attitude Era" including a crotch chop (made famous by D-Generation X) and a Stone Cold Stunner. It's been 20 years since Mick Foley was hurled off the top of the Hell in a Cell by the Undertaker, another iconic moment of the Attitude Era.

Owens continues to put mind and body on the line for the fans, and at least this one appreciates it.

Crash pad or not, falling 15 feet from the top of a cage can't feel pleasant. Respect.
