Ever wondered what it would look like for John Cena to try and convince Homer Simpson to be nicer to Ned Flanders? It doesn’t matter if you’ve ever wondered (read that in The Rock’s voice, yes), because you’re going to get a chance at seeing it happen very soon.

That’s because Cena, who announced his retirement tour at Money in the Bank in Toronto on July 6, is also still enjoying his Hollywood fame and he’s now parlayed it into a guest spot on The Simpsons, Michael Schnieder of Variety

Cena will make his guest appearance on the premiere episode of the show — “Bart’s Birthday” — one that will also include legends such as Danny DeVito, Tom Hanks and Conan O’Brien.

If you’d like a reminder of just how good a WWE superstar can be on The Simpsons, head to YouTube and check out the time Bret Hart made an appearance in 1997, on “The Old Man and Lisa” episode.

And it goes without saying that Cena is no stranger to putting on a show, so expect him to do the same when he’s being drawn by Simpson’s create Matt Groening.

This is all assuming, of course, that Groening can see him.
