The WWE announced on Sunday that Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into their Hall of Fame.
“After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame,” WWE officials said in a statement. “This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame.”
On Saturday, a photo surfaced of Hogan at a Cleveland airport. The city is about a two-hour drive from Sunday evening's WWE Extreme Rules event in Pittsburgh. It is unknown at this time if Hogan will be appearing on the show.

The 64-year-old wrestling icon was released from the company in July 2015 when a video showed Hogan making racist comments towards a man his daughter dated at the time. After releasing Hogan, the company removed everything possible to distance itself from him.
Signs were shown that perhaps a reconciliation was in the near future. Hogan appeared in ESPN's 30-for-30 documentary on Ric Flair and a recent HBO documentary on Andre the Giant, which WWE co-produced.
