Depending on how you look at it, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio is either the luckiest man walking the planet right now or, let him tell it, the most cursed. For the past three months, he’s been the target of an all-out seduction blitz from Liv Morgan after she put his Mami, Rhea Ripley, on the shelf with an injury and then proceeded to take the WWE Women’s Championship with the help of Mysterio.

Of course, he was trying to help Becky Lynch keep it away from Morgan at first, and then to recover it after botching the first attempt, but the end result was the same; and he’s been the object of her affection (read: manipulation) ever since.

That didn’t change on the July 15 episode of RAW, when Ripley returned to the mic for the first time since suffering her injury in April to challenge Morgan to a title match at Summerslam — accepted by Morgan — only to see the two again find themselves in a compromising position during the show.

Doing his best to climb out of Ripley’s doghouse, Dominik took to Twitter/X.

“Clearly fighting for my life,” he said in the caption.

It would probably help his case if he wouldn’t do things like, let’s see, go to Mexico and play it up with Liv Morgan at the SuperShow Summer Tour and if he wouldn’t put his foot in his mouth by telling Ripley she “belongs to me”, for starters.

Ripley looked as if she was at least somewhat interested in forgiving her “Dom Dom”, but you can also interpret that in one of two ways. She’s either truly giving him a second chance, or she’s biding her time on her Brutality Tour to punish him unexpectedly with a Riptide.

Or both.

Either way, Dom is right — he’s fighting for his life right now.
