While giving his acceptance speech for being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame — for the second time as a member of The Hart Foundation along with the late Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart — a fan rushed into the ring and attacked Hart.

Immediately, a number of WWE staff and wrestlers that included Edge, The New Day, Travis Browne, Ronda Rousey, Steve Corino, Heath Slater, Tyson Kidd jumped right on the unknown fan and helped the former WWE champion get back to his feet.

A reverse angle showed the beating the fan got.

The fan was quickly detained by security and escorted out of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. After making sure the Canadian was OK, Hart and Neidhart's daughter and former WWE women's champion, Natalya, continued their speech.
