The first 2024 PPV event for All Elite Wrestling will feature great matches, title bouts and grudge fights. It also marks the end of the career of Sting. AEW Revolution 2024 will be a night to remember for pro wrestling fans all over the globe.

The main event will be Sting and Darby Allin defending the AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks. It is Sting’s final pro wrestling match. Sting turned pro in 1985 and became the face of WCW with his Surfer and Crow look. A multi-time world champion, Sting wrestled in TNA Wrestling before joining WWE in 2014. He was forced to retire in 2016 following an injury he suffered in a match against Seth Rollins but returned to the ring after joining AEW in 2020.

Teaming with Darby Allin, Sting has surprised many with his ability to sustain plenty of damage at the age of 64. The duo won the AEW World Tag Team Titles, much to the disdain of The Young Bucks. Sting has mentored Allin and the mentee has nothing but respect for “The Icon.”

“Before the match, I’m going to tell Sting the same thing I’ve been telling him this whole time — which is HAVE FUN. That’s it. That’s the one rule. Nothing else matters,” Allin said about Sting via The Players’ Tribune. “After the match, I’m going to tell him the only thing there’s left to say: Thank you. I didn’t just get to meet a hero, I got to find out he’s a hero worth having. It was an honor, truly. It’s been the time of my life.”

In other title fights, Samoa Joe defends the AEW World Title against Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong fight for the AEW International Title, and Chrisitan Cage defends the TNT Title against Daniel Garcia. In Grudge matches, "Timeless" Toni Storm defends the AEW Women's World Title against friend Deonna Purrazzo, while Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson fight for the Continental Crown Title.

Will Ospreay competes in his first AEW-exclusive match, while FTR and the Blackpool Combat Club clash.
