Things are shaping up nicely for Jey Uso following his intentions of not only participating in this year’s “Money in the Bank” premium live event, to be held on Saturday, July 6 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In a triple threat qualifying match on WWE RAW that followed the “Clash at the Castle” PLE in Glasgow, Scotland, Uso was victorious over future Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor — punching his ticket in the process.
Less than 12 hours later, he became the face of the event.

The first official promotional poster features Uso front and center with a play on his viral mantra, labeling the PLE as “Yeet In the Bank”.

It’s obviously not a foregone conclusion that he’ll be the one walking away with the highly-coveted briefcase, all things considered, but his odds are better than most in the former tag team champion’s journey to finally win a singles title in WWE.
Though he may not seek the assistance of any fireflies going forward, thanks to the return of the Wyatt Sick (6), led by Uncle Howdy.
“It boosted my confidence, I know that,” Uso said of his victory on Monday night in Corpus Christi. “I went out there and got the W like I said I was for my people who’ve been yeeting with me since Day 1 — I’m really proud about that.”
The reigning WWE Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest, is currently enjoying a quality reign that began with his victory at men's MITB in 2023, and Uso knows exactly how powerful the briefcase can be.
That means you can expect him to yeet it all on the mat in Canada.
