The drawbridge was lowered on June 15 in Glasgow, Scotland and across it ran the WWE in all of its scintillating glory for it’s latest Premium Live Event, “Clash at the Castle”, a show that promised to blow the roof off of the United Kingdom and it made good on that vow — just ask Cody Rhodes or C.M. Punk.

Hell, you can even ask Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre, the hometown favorites shocking the world by dethroning Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, along with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, to become the Women’s Tag Team Champions against all odds.

A.J. Styles looked “Phenomenal” until he didn’t, quitting against “The American Nightmare” to avoid a fate he’d suffer anyway — blasted by steel stairs once the match was over — and Chad Gable again played second fiddle to Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn due to distractions he fueled from the Alpha Academy.

In the aftermath of the event, all hell broke loose, and next week’s episodes of WWE RAW and SmackDown will be nothing short of electrifying.
