The Liberty will look to cap off a 32-win season with the franchise's first title as they take on the Lynx in the 2024 WNBA Finals.
While the Liberty entered the playoff bracket as the No. 1 overall seed, Minnesota defeated New York in three of the four meetings during the regular season. The Lynx have won four WNBA championships, but they haven't held the trophy since 2017.
The Lynx's elite defense will be tasked with stopping the Liberty's dynamic duo of Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart. Ionescu and Stewart led the Liberty in scoring in Sunday's win over the Aces, recording 22 and 19 points, respectively.
Minnesota will lean heavily on 2024 Defensive Player of the Year Napheesa Collier, who has taken her game to another level in the playoffs. In addition to her defensive prowess, Collier has also led the charge offensively, scoring 27 points in Tuesday's win over the Sun.
