A massive influx of talent from this year's WNBA Draft will add even more intrigue to a league that is filled with compelling storylines.
No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark joined the Fever after leading Iowa to the national championship game in back-to-back seasons. Clark's arrival has unsurprisingly made Indiana a national TV darling as the WNBA looks to capitalize on the rookie's broad appeal.
The Sky also added some star power by selecting South Carolina's Kamilla Cardoso and LSU's Angel Reese in the first round of the draft. The Sparks acquired Cameron Brink (Stanford) and Rickea Jackson (Tennessee) in the hopes of speeding up their rebuild following the departure of Nneka Ogwumike.
That's just scratching the surface. Basketball fans should get ready for an exciting summer of WNBA action.
