It's time for Dallas against Chicago, Round 2.

The teams opened their 2024 WNBA seasons against each other Wednesday with the Wings coming out on top, 87-79. It was a comeback victory for the home team as the Sky led until halftime. But Dallas' big three got it done as Teaira McCowan and Natasha Howard recorded double-doubles and Arike Ogunbowale scored 25 points.

All things considered, it wasn't a bad start to Teresa Weatherspoon's first season with the Sky. All five starters scored in the double-digits, led by Marina Mabrey's 19 points and nine rebounds. In Angel Reese's debut, she recorded 12 points and eight rebounds powered by a more confident second half.

It won't be easy to beat Dallas on their home court again. But with each team now having a game under its belt, the second matchup will be even better.
