Business is unfinished for the Liberty. After assembling a super team last year, consisting of Breanna Stewart, Courtney Vandersloot and Jonquel Jones, New York made it back to the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2002. It won a game but couldn't take down the Aces, who won their second straight title.
The reigning runner-up got off to a poor start in the 2024 season. It lost to Chicago in a preseason game 101-53. No one even scored in the double-digits as Sabrina Ionescu led the way with just eight points. But the Liberty got it together two days later, beating rival Connecticut 82-79.
The expectations for New York are high; a return to the finals is not just possible but likely. How the Liberty start the season will be an indicator of how the team can regroup. They have big games to start, too, visiting the Mystics before two games against Caitlin Clark and the Fever.

How to watch Liberty games in 2024: TV channels, live streams

The Liberty will have all but seven games televised nationally this season. Games will be played on ABC and ESPN family services, CBS and CBS Sports Network, ION and NBA TV.
Some games will be streamed via Prime Video. Games on CBS, CBS Sports Network and ION can also be streamed on Fubo, while Sling will stream games on ABC, the ESPN networks and NBA TV. Games that are not broadcast can be streamed using WNBA League Pass.

Tickets for every Liberty game this season, home and away, are available on StubHub.
New York begins its season at the Mystics on May 14. The cheapest cost to see the game is $30. A few days later, the Liberty return to Barclays Center to play the Fever in their home opener. Those tickets are worth at least $93.
