The New York Liberty will look to avenge their 2023 WNBA Finals loss when they face off against the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday.
The last time these two teams met, the Aces beat the Liberty to capture their second straight WNBA championship. This season is a different story, though, as New York is currently riding a seven-game winning streak while the Aces have gotten off to a slower start.
The Liberty are still led by Breanna Stewart (18.9 points per game), Sabrina Ionescu (17.8 points) and Jonquel Jones (15.5 points). Reigning Finals MVP A'ja Wilson has been spectacular for the Aces, leading the WNBA in scoring and rebounding with 28.6 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.
Chelsea Gray, the Aces' starting point guard, has yet to play a game this season because of a foot injury sustained last season during the Finals, but she has been upgraded to questionable ahead of Saturday's contest.
