Caitlin Clark is ready for the WNBA. Are her fans?
In February, the Iowa star decided to wave goodbye to her home state and follow her dreams of playing professional basketball. Now, she's in the big leagues, set to make her regular season debut alongside 2023 No. 1 pick Aliyah Boston. In the process, she'll make Indiana the team to watch in 2024.
There's no telling how the two-time Naismith Player of the Year will fare in the pros. Will she struggle to make the transition, or will it be smooth like Boston's, ending in a Rookie of the Year award? Opinions are mixed, but Clark will eventually answer those on the court.
The WNBA is sure to offer up an exciting season, but there's no doubt that Clark will be the biggest storyline of all. Here's everything to know about Indiana's upcoming season, including its schedule and best games to watch.

Indiana has a difficult first few games of the season, going up against the Sun and Liberty, who finished third and second, respectively, in the league's 2023 regular season.
She'll first face Connecticut and Alyssa Thomas, who finished second in 2023 MVP and Defensive Player of the Year voting. Then, she'll go up against last year's MVP Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and the Liberty.
You won't want to miss Clark vs. A'ja Wilson either. Indiana plays the Aces just four times: May 25 and July 2 in Las Vegas and at home on Sept. 11 and 13. They might be close games, as the Aces are the two-time defending WNBA champions, but Clark will get her biggest test against Wilson, Kelsey Plum, and Candace Parker.
Seattle may have had the second-worst record last year, but it was busy in the offseason. The Storm signed a contract extension with Jewell Lloyd, the 2015 No. 1 pick. They also added Skylar Diggins-Smith and 2012 top pick Nneka Ogwumike to the roster, too. After Las Vegas, Seattle could be Clark's biggest challenge.
Indiana will play Atlanta and 2022 No. 1 pick Rhyne Howard at home on June 13. Later in the month, it will go to Phoenix to play the Mercury and Diana Taurasi, which could get interesting. The Fever and Clark will also play Arike Ogunbowale, Satou Sabally, and the Wings on July 17.
