It might feel like the Aces were just crowned as WNBA champions but the first tentpole event of the offseason is already upon us.

The 2023 WNBA Draft Lottery is set to take place on Friday, Nov. 11, where the Fever, Dream, Mystics and Lynx will hope to earn the No. 1 overall pick.

The 2023 WNBA Draft isn't until Monday, April 10 at the conclusion of March Madness, but franchises will have the entire season to scout the prospects they might take with the first pick.

When is the 2023 WNBA Draft Lottery

  • Date: Friday, Nov. 11
  • Time: 5:30 p.m. ET

The 2023 WNBA Draft Lottery will take place on Friday, Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The 30-minute special will lead into a marque women's college basketball matchup between defending national champion South Carolina and Maryland, which takes place at 6:30 p.m. ET.

2023 WNBA Draft Lottery odds

The Fever, Dream, Mystics (from Los Angeles via Atlanta) and Lynx have qualified for the 22nd annual WNBA Draft Lottery. The winner will earn the No. 1 overall pick for the 2023 WNBA Draft, which is set to take place on Monday, April 10.

Unlike the NBA, lottery odds are based on the cumulative records of the two most recent regular seasons (2021 and 2022).

The Fever have the highest chance to retain the No. 1 pick with a cumulative record of 11-57 over the last two seasons. They are guaranteed at least the third overall pick.
