Tickets sold out for the WNBA All-Star Game before rosters were even announced, as Team USA is set to take on the league's remaining All-Stars in Phoenix this year.
With star rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese among the competitors for Team WNBA, it's safe to say this year's All-Star weekend is one of the most highly anticipated in the history of the league. Aside from sending off the Olympic squad, the two-day event will feature a 3-Point Contest as well as a Skills Challenge.

When is WNBA All-Star 2024?
The 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend will take place from Friday, June 19, to Saturday, June 20.
Festivities begin at 9 p.m. ET Friday with the 3-Point Contest and the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge. The 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will cap off the weekend at 8:30 p.m. ET Saturday.

Where is the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game?
Footprint Center in Phoenix, home of the three-time WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury, will play host to the 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend.
The Phoenix Convention Center will also host WNBA Live, the league's two-day fan festival, from July 19-20. The event aims to celebrate the intersection of the WNBA, fashion, music and culture.

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will air on ABC beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET Saturday. The 3-Point Contest and the Skills Challenge will air on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET Friday.

WNBA All-Star Game format
This year's All-Star Game features a format that pits the All-Stars who comprise the USA Basketball Women's National Team against the remaining WNBA All-Stars. This is the second time this format has been used. The two teams also played in July 2021, before the Tokyo Olympics.
In that game, Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale lead team WNBA to a 93-85 win behind a game-high 26 points. She was named the game's MVP, and Team USA went on to win gold in the Tokyo Games.

Starters for the 2024 All-Star Game will be determined by the head coaches of Team WNBA and Team USA, respectively. Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve is at the helm for the Olympic 5x5 team, while the head coach for the WNBA squad has not been announced.
The impact of this year's rookie class was evident in All-Star voting, as two rookies (Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese) were selected for the first time since 2014.
