Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are set to face off for the first time in their respective WNBA careers when the Fever host the Sky on Saturday afternoon.

Clark, the No. 1 overall pick out of Iowa, and Reese, the No. 7 overall pick from LSU, faced off five times in college. Most recently, Clark's Hawkeyes eliminated the Tigers in the Elite Eight, with Clark dropping 41 points and 12 assists. Reese had 17 points and 20 rebounds in the loss.

But, most famously, Reese got the best of Clark in the 2023 NCAA championship game, as LSU defeated Iowa to win the national title.

Clark and the Fever are off to a 1-8 start to begin the 2024 WNBA season. The prized rookie is averaging 17.6 points per game, but she is shooting just 37.7 percent from the field and 32.0 percent from beyond the arc. Reese, meanwhile, is averaging 11.0 points and 8.2 rebounds, as the Sky sit at 3-3.
