A pair of No. 1 overall picks square off Sunday when Caitlin Clark and the Fever visit Brittney Griner and the Mercury.

After winning six of eight games, Indiana has dropped their last two contests, including an 89-77 loss to the Storm on Thursday night. Clark had 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the defeat.

The rookie sensation out of Iowa is now averaging 16.2 points and 6.6 assists on the season while shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc. 

Griner, the No. 1 overall pick out of Baylor in 2013, is having another strong season for the Mercury. The 6-9 center is averaging 19.5 points, seven rebounds and 1.7 blocks per contest.

Phoenix is also led by veteran guard Kahleah Cooper, who's averaging a career-best 22.6 points per game in her first season with the Mercury.
