The Fever and  Lynx will meet for the first time this season on Sunday afternoon, with both teams looking to get another win ahead of the Olympic break.

The Fever have gotten it going after starting the season 1-9, going 8-5 since then. Indiana has relied on its star trio of Caitlin Clark (16.7 points, 7.6 rebounds), Kelsey Mitchell (16.4 points) and Aliyah Boston (13.2 points, 8.3 rebounds), with these three players all earning All-Star selections. The Fever have picked up some key wins against the Mercury and Liberty but will need to continue developing their chemistry in hopes of making the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season.

They'll have to play at a high level to beat a tough Lynx team that won the 2024 Commissioner's Cup Championship against the Liberty and leads the league in three-point percentage. Minnesota will presumably be without its star and MVP candidate Napheesa Collier, who is doubtful to play after aggravating a plantar fasciitis injury in her left foot. But the team still has other weapons in Kayla McBride (15.5 points) and Alanna Smith (11.5 points).

A win is important for both teams in their second-to-last game before the All-Star weekend. Will the Lynx get a win without Collier, or will the Fever pick up a victory on the road?
