Best WNBA prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Friday 6/23 image

We have another Friday night WNBA doubleheader on ION, starting with Breanna Stewart and the New York Liberty going on the road to play Rhyne Howard and the Dream at 7:30 p.m. ET. The nightcap features Arike Ogunbowale and the Wings looking to hand Nneka Ogwumike and the Sparks their fourth-straight loss at 10 p.m. ET.

Both games feature a ton of star players, making this a great opportunity for WNBA fans to bet on their favorite players' props on SuperDraft.

On SuperDraft, bettors can pick an over/under on two or more player props. If you hit both, you win up to 3X the amount wagered, and the return increases each time you add another prop. Think of it as a "Same Game Parlay." More legs equal more risk, but also a bigger potential payout. However, not all players have the same props, so keep that in mind as you pick your over/under plays and try to win some cash during the first night of WNBA regular season action.

* Entry -four picks (20X) potential payout if all four legs parlayed*

1. Jonquel Jones, F, Liberty @ Dream - UNDER 7 rebounds

Jones has struggled in her first season with the Liberty as she adjusts to playing alongside Breanna Stewart. The former league MVP is averaging 9.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, which is only slightly better than her rookie season with the Sun (6.8 ppg and 3.7 rpg). Jones has really struggled on the glass this season, as she's only recording 3.8 defensive rebounds per game. That does not bode well for her going into tonight's game against the Dream.

This is the third time that the Liberty are playing the Dream this month. Jones is averaging seven rebounds per game through the first two meetings, which includes an eight-rebound performance on June 13. The veteran forward has done a better job on the glass over her past four games, recording 8.3 rebounds per game. However, the Dream are one of the better defensive rebounding teams, allowing just 26.5 defensive boards per game. Lastly, Jones has been too inconsistent on the road this year, averaging five rebounds per game.

2. Rhyne Howard, G, Dream vs. Liberty - UNDER 16.5 points

Howard is coming off a rough shooting performance on Tuesday night against the Wings, scoring 15 points on 3-of-13 shooting from the field and 2-of-5 from three-point range. Almost half of her points came from the free-throw line where Howard went 7-of-10. The former No. 1 overall pick will look to bounce back tonight against the Liberty, who have given her fits this season.

In Atlanta's last meeting against New York, Howard had 12 points on 4-of-11 shooting from the field and 2-of-5 from beyond the arc. She also only got to the line twice. New York is one of the best defensive teams in the league, holding opponents to 79.1 points per game and 41.1 percent from the field. There's always a chance that Howard gets off to a hot start tonight, which will be great news for Dream and SD users. However, she's gone UNDER 16.5 points in six out of 11 games this season and gone UNDER 16.5 points in three-straight home games.

3. Arike Ogunbowale, G, Wings @ Sparks - OVER 23 points

The 26-year-old star is one of the top scorers in the WNBA this season, producing 23.3 points per game on 39 percent shooting from the field and 32.4 percent from three-point range.

Ogunbowale has been on an absolute tear lately, scoring 25 points or more in three out of her past five games, including a 41-point outburst against the Storm last weekend. Before she dropped 41 on Seattle, Ogunbowale had 13 points at home against the Sparks. Los Angeles made life tough for the two-time All-Star as she shot 5-of-16 from the field and 2-of-9 from three-point range. That being said, we don't think Ogunbowale will struggle tonight on the road, where she's averaging 20.8 points per game and has gone OVER 23 points in three out of her past five contests.

4. Jordin Canada, G, Sparks vs. Wings - UNDER 5.5 assists

The veteran guard dished out six assists in the Sparks' 18-point win over the Wings on June 14. However, Canada has only gone OVER 5.5 assists in four out of 11 games this year, which isn't a great percentage.

This season at Crypto.com Arena, Canada is dishing out 5.3 assists per game and has had four contests with at least five assists. Heading into tonight's game, the Wings have allowed the third-most assists per game this season (20.5), making this a potentially good OVER spot. However, in its past two games, Dallas has held Rhyne Howard and Jewell Loyd to two and five assists, respectively. Therefore, we'll roll with the UNDER and hope for a winning ticket.
