Both Targaryen and Hightower won’t just have an army to attempt to win the Iron Throne, but dragons. The “Dance of the Dragons” civil war started due to the result of the end of season one, with Rhaenyra’s son Lucerys’s death.

House of the Dragon season 2 finally returns on Sunday, June 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max.
