Ha Noi FC manager, Chu Dinh Nghiem said that he was not happy with their 1-1 draw against Malaysia's Felda United FC in their AFC Cup group match, despite coming away with one point away from home.
Playing under a heavy rain, Dinh Nghiem said his side could’ve produced a better result if they did not play on such a heavy pitch.
Speaking after the game, Dinh Ngiem said he was unhappy with the result and put the blame on the muddy pitch caused by a heavy downpour, which occurred in the first half.
However, he is confident that his team can bounce back when they face Tampines Rovers FC back home in Vietnam next week.
Striker Do Hung Dung rescued Ha Noi FC from defeat after he scored an injury time equaliser to secure a point for his team.
Zah Rahan Krangar earlier put Felda United in front in the first half.
The draw means Ha Noi FC now have two points from two games, while Felda United are still bottom of Group G after one draw and one defeat from their first two games in the AFC Cup.
