The final U.S. national team friendlies of 2018 will feature many of the same young faces that have made up the squad this year, and one star who will be hoping to feature after six months away.
Christian Pulisic headlines the 28-player squad that will face England and Italy in upcoming friendlies. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has feature in just one USMNT match in 2018, having missed out on the October friendlies after suffering an injury.
Weston McKennie is also back in the fold after missing the October friendlies with a leg injury. The Schalke midfielder has been a regular starter for the national team in 2018.
Interim coach Dave Sarachan has called in a squad featuring several players still taking part in the MLS playoffs, including the New York Red Bulls tandem of Tyler Adams and Aaron Long, the Columbus Crew pair of Zack Steffen and Wil Trapp, and the Atlanta United duo of Darlington Nagbe and Brad Guzan.
Romain Gall is the lone new face in the group. The Malmo midfielder and former Columbus Crew player has enjoyed a standout year in Sweden, earning his first national team look in the process.
Fulham midfielder Luca de la Torre also makes his return to the national team after making his USMNT debut in the June friendly against Ireland.
The USMNT will begin training camp in London on Monday before facing England at Wembley Stadium on November 15. It will then face Italy in Genk, Belgium on November 20.
