The U.S. Under-20 national team continues to cruise through World Cup qualifying with the latest result being a lopsided 6-1 win over Trinidad & Tobago.

With the win, the U.S. sits three points clear atop the group with a plus-24 goal differential through three games at the Concacaf U-20 championship.

It took just six minutes for the U.S. to open the scoring with Brandon Servania’s 25-yard strike serving as en emphatic start.

A second came just two minutes later via an own goal with the U.S. adding a third before halftime on Paxton Pomykal's finish.

The second half began with the two teams trading goals as Alex Mendez scored in the 52nd minute on a Pomykal assist before Isaiah Lee provided what turned out to be T&T's lone goal of the match.

Ulysses Llanez then scored in the 56th minute to continue the flurry and Juan Pablo Torres put an exclamation point on the performance with a stoppage time goal to end the match.

Llanez is currently the leader in the Golden Boot race with five goals through three games while a total of 11 different players have scored for the U.S. thus far.

The U.S. is also unbeaten in its last eight Concacaf U-20 Championship matches following a 13-0 win over U.S. Virgin Islands and a 7-1 victory against Puerto Rico to open the tournament.

Next up is a clash with St. Vincent & The Grenadines on Wednesday as the U.S. can clinch a spot in the next phase of the competition with a win and a draw between T&T and Suriname.
