Two rematches with titles up for grabs headline a stacked UFC 304 card. The main event will see Leon Edwards (22-3, 1 NC) defending the UFC welterweight title against top contender Belal Muhammad (23-3, 1 NC) in a rematch from their controversial March 2021 clash.
The co-main event will see Tom Aspinall defend the interim UFC heavyweight title in a rematch against Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall (14-3) injured his knee in the opening minute of his fight against Blaydes in July 2022. Since then, he has won two straight, including a win against Sergei Pavlovich in November to win the interim heavyweight belt.
Blaydes (18-4, 1 NC) has gone 1-1 since that fight and is 4-1 in his last five contests. The winner of this contest could face the winner of the eventual Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic fight to determine the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion. That fight is expected in November.
Also on the card will be the return of Paddy Pimblett. The Liverpool-born Pimblett (21-3) is on a seven-fight win streak, with his skills and what he says on the mic making him a polarizing figure. Green (32–15–1, 1 NC) has the most significant strikes (1,845) in UFC lightweight history. “King” Green is 13-10-1 with one no-contest in the octagon and 3-1 in his last four fights.
