The latest season of The Ultimate Fighter has arrived, and it is expected to be another entertaining run. Will we have any viral moments during episode one? With rivals Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko coaching, anything is possible.

Grasso is the current UFC flyweight champion, beating Shevchenko following a surprise face crank in March 2023 to end a reign that started in 2018 for the latter. In a rematch on Mexican Independence Day last September, they fought to a draw that saw many post different scores, with media members divided over who won.

As is tradition, the coaches will fight one another following the end of The Ultimate Fighter. No date has been announced yet for the trilogy, but Grasso and Shevchenko may clash at The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 14. That may depend on how this season goes.

"I've seen some memos about how the fight could look inside that place. It looks amazing," Grasso told CBS Sports. "I would love to fight there. I hope this is true, and I hope we can have this big opportunity to present ourselves and perform in The Sphere. I think our job here in 'TUF' will be important for that decision.”

The Ultimate Fighter will feature men’s featherweights and middleweights this season. The winner will earn a UFC contract. Last season, when Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler coached, Brad Katona beat Cody Gibson at UFC 292 to earn a contract. However, both fighters ended up getting signed.

Past winners of The Ultimate Fighter include Forrest Griffin, Michael Bisping, Nate Diaz, Carla Esparza, Tony Ferguson, and more. Who will show up on episode one and impress right away?
