The Birmingham Stallions will attempt to continue their newly minted dynasty when they take on the upset-minded San Antonio Brahmas on Sunday in St. Louis to determine a UFL champion. Coach Wade Phillips and the Brahmas held off a late St. Louis Battlehawks rally to win the conference title game, 25-15, in St. Louis.
Meanwhile, the Stallions, the best team in the UFL all season long, dominated the Michigan Panthers in a 31-18 drubbing, solidifying themselves as the team to beat.
It may not have the same intrigue as the Super Bowl in the winter, but the championship game between the Stallions and Brahmas is the UFL's grand finale for spring football, making it worthwhile.
