"The Pat McAfee Show" usually graces the ESPN airwaves every day from 12-3 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. That won't be the case over the next couple of weeks.
McAfee and Co. weren't on the air to start July. Instead, ESPN was showing action from Wimbledon, as tennis' most iconic major began its first-round play that day.
That will continue to be the norm for the rest of the Wimbledon tournament.
Here's what to know about "The Pat McAfee Show's" hiatus and when fans of the "progrum" can expect to see it back in action again.

The Pat McAfee Show' break, explained
ESPN announced that "The Pat McAfee Show" would be on hiatus beginning July 1. There is no sinister reason for the show's absence; McAfee and Co. are merely being given a two-week summer break at a slower point in the sports calendar.
As ESPN announced, the "progrum" — an affectionate nickname given to the show by McAfee — will be back Monday, July 15.

"The Pat McAfee Show's" absence comes at an ideal time for ESPN. It coincides with the start of Wimbledon, which the network is making its primary showcase on its main channel. Meanwhile, ESPN2 will be hosting ESPN's normal slate of programming — including "SportsCenter," "First Take" and the like — while action is happening at the All-England Club.
The break also comes just a week after McAfee's father-in-law died unexpectedly, which will allow McAfee to spend more time with his grieving family.
McAfee appeared on his show the day after his father-in-law's death and thanked listeners for allowing him to use the program as "an escape."
