DraftKings experienced some issues on Thursday, as the sportsbook had an outage that began early in the morning Eastern Time and lasted into the afternoon.
Thursday is expected to be a big sports day, with MLB playoff games, the start of the WNBA Finals and "Thursday Night Football," so the bettors felt the absence of the DraftKings app.
While the sportsbook's app is up and running again as of 2:15 p.m. ET, there was a long stretch of the day where users were unable to use DraftKings to place bets.

When will DraftKings be working again?
As of 2:15 p.m. ET, DraftKings announced that the issues have been fixed and the app has been restored following the outage. The sportsbook first tweeted that it was working on fixing the outage at 8:29 a.m. ET.
"We are aware that customers may be experiencing issues with certain features on our Sportsbook," DraftKings tweeted on Thursday morning. "This is currently affecting players in all jurisdictions. We are working on resolving this as quickly as possible."
Almost six hours later, DraftKings returned to announce the outage was over.
"Sportsbook functionality has been fully restored," the tweet said. "Thanks for sticking with us!"
DraftKings did not explain what the issue was in its initial tweet, just that its team was working on restoring operations. Now that the outage is over, users can now move forward with their bets for tonight's action.
