Tottenham team news: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs West Ham image

Tottenham will aim to continue their recent winning run against West Ham on Thursday.

Spurs have won three in a row since their 4-1 loss to Manchester City and now sit fifth in the Premier League, with a game in hand on fourth-placed Liverpool.

A win over David Moyes's men would put the pressure on the Reds, but the Hammers will have some momentum of their own, having dramatically beaten West Brom 2-1 in their last match thanks to Andy Carroll's late goal.

TOTTENHAM INJURIES

Spurs midfielder Victor Wanyama returned to the squad for the game against Swansea on Tuesday, while Harry Kane came on as a substitute after overcoming a bout of illness.

Toby Alderweireld remains out, and is on the long-term injury list at Spurs. Danny Rose, too, is set to miss the encounter with the Hammers after sustaining a knee injury.

While Mousa Dembele was a doubt for the encounter with the Swans, he is unlikely to miss the London derby.

TOTTENHAM SUSPENSIONS

Spurs have no players suspended for this game.

SPURS POTENTIAL STARTING LINE-UP

Spurs came through the game against Swansea unscathed, and in any other team Fernando Llorente would have a legitimate case to start against the Hammers, having opened the scoring against the Swans.

However, Harry Kane's return to full fitness surely means that the England international will play up front, as he looks to add to his tally of 18 goals thus far this season.

Victor Wanyama's return to action will further boost Mauricio Pochettino, but it remains to be seen if he will choose to select him in such a high-profile, and high intensity, encounter.

Pochettino's penchant for rotating full-backs means that Serge Aurier is likely to return, though Davies will continue due to Rose's injury. Davinson Sanchez will likely continue at centre-back, despite being substituted against the Swans.

WEST HAM TEAM NEWS

The Hammers have a number of injury problems in defence, with James Collins, Sam Byram, Jose Fonte, Michail Antonio and Diafra Sakho all likely to miss out.

Aaron Cresswell overcame a knock to play against the Baggies on Tuesday and could again feature against Spurs.

It remains to be seen, however, if Andy Carroll will play two games in as many days, given that he is famed for his injury woes.
